Inclusions

All Simple Energy Protection Plans include:

• 24/7/365 Emergency Service. We respond to your emergency call on holidays, weekends, middle of the night – whenever your heating or cooling system stops working! Simple as that!
• Annual tune-up, adjustment and cleaning of your boiler or furnace by our own qualified, licensed burner technicians.
  • Repair and replacement of listed parts and associated routine and emergency labor.
  • Test and check all oil burner safety controls.
  • Clean or replace oil filters and strainers
• Clean nozzle assembly and change nozzle
  • Clean and adjust ignition system
• Inspect and clean smoke pipe from the unit to the chimney thimble.
  • Inspect and vacuum combustion chamber and boiler sections.
  • Lubricate motors and bearing assemblies.
  • Visually inspect wiring.
  • Test antifreeze
  • Perform a combustion efficiency test
  • Inspect oil tank and fuel supply systems
  • Total system safety inspection

Exclusions

Simple Energy Service Plans do not cover:

• Maintaining and adding antifreeze
• Complete replacement of oil burner, boiler, furnace, combustion chamber or heat exchanger
• Air conditioning equipment
• Digital thermostats
• Heat and hot water distribution systems and their accessories except items in Simple Boiler Plan
• Tankless coils, gaskets, and related labor
• Draft inducers and power venters
• Wood or coal units and their related parts
• Burner Service required due to failure of adequate fuel supply (will call customers only) or your delivery being held due to unsatisfactory credit status
• Oil storage tanks
• Water storage tanks
• Malfunctions due to:
  • Switches left off
  • Failure to fill manually fed boilers or flush low water cut-offs
  • Blown fuses or tripped breakers, unless due to covered part failure
  • Electrical failures unrelated to heating system
  • Oil or water valves left off by customer
  • Flooded cellars and system freeze-ups even if due to failure of a covered part

Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply for all Simple Energy Protection Plans.

• Terms of this agreement are for a period of twelve months from the date of invoice and will renew automatically each successive year unless either party gives notice prior to the renewal date.
• We reserve the right to inspect and qualify the heating system prior to issuing a contract. Improperly installed, obsolete, neglected or equipment not meeting state or local codes cannot be covered.
• Pre-paid plans for systems not meeting Simple Energy’s minimum standards will be refunded or applied to authorized repairs.
• This plan covers only residential systems fired at 3.0 gallons an hour or less. Other systems (over 3.0 gallons an hour) are subject to increased rates available upon inspection.
• This plan is offered exclusively to customers who purchase their total requirements of fuel from Simple Energy Partners, LLC. Cancellation of fuel or oil delivery or failure to maintain a satisfactory credit status automatically terminates the contract without a refund.
• This plan does not cover, and we are not responsible for any damage including environmental damage, arising out of any leakage or spillage from any oil lines, oil tanks or any other part of your heating system. We will not accept liability for:
  • Any work performed on heating equipment other than by our own technicians or others authorized by us.
  • Any direct or indirect injury, damage or resulting failure of the oil burner, associated equipment or dwelling due to an act of God, unexpected mechanical failure, power outage, flood, fires, abuse, neglect or any cause beyond our control.
